I have a similar problem that's been going on for about a month now - Just dull pains and tense spots on my skull. No headaches associated although, at times, it gets to me and I think I give myself partial anxiety attacks. Anyways, I've seen 3 different doctors about this problem and the last one, who seemed to be the most knowledgable, said it could have something to do with neck muscle strain, which I have slight problems with. Something to consider if you have any neck problems.
