Painful Pins and Needles Everywhere

55 y/o women with controlled hypertension, THR 4 months ago.  Otherwise normal health.
1 month ago I started having pins and needles in both arms and legs.  This started all at once, in all extremities at once.   I do have some muscles cramps in the arch of my feet and the calf of the leg that had the hip replacement.  Not often.
Blood work normal for Thyroid TSH 1.4, Vitamin K & calcium, not anemic.
I went to a Neurologist who ordered a Brain MRI with and without contrast.  The MRI was negative or normal.   He told me it was Carpal Tunnel and to do stretching.  Not returning to him.
I now have painful pins and needles everywhere.  Arms, legs, tongue, sometimes in my ears & throat, abdomen.  Everywhere.   My GP did put me on Gabapentin, which seemed to work at first, but not very much now.  And also makes me somewhat dizzy.
Both GP & Neurologist say I pass neurology tests.   The pins and needles are painful and the unknown is driving me crazy.   I do have an appointment with a new neurologist in about a month.  Would like to be prepared with questions.
Any suggestions?

Hi, Thank you for your question. Usually, numbness & muscle cramps are common in pinched nerve, salt imbalance, circulatory problems, with certain medications, excessive cold temperature, whilst you are relaxed or resting, during or after exercise, or after sitting in an uncomfortable position. Most of the times, they are not related to any underlying disorder but needs checking out with a doctor to assess that your leg circulation and nerve supply are working appropriately. Meanwhile, I would suggest eat a diet rich in fruit and vegetables, vitamin E & zinc supplement, drink at least eight glasses of water in a day and avoid smoking. Hope this helps.
