However, I could be wrong because, again, my Herpes outbreaks (I and especially II) are now so very mild. I have two questions: Can Herpes I and/or II cause the symptom I have been experiencing, or is it more likely caused by the MS? Secondly, if there WAS a temporal correlation between the Herpes outbreaks and the symptom, would that change your opinion? Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my questions. =Dear Julie, I am not so much concerned about a temporal relationship as a spatial one. If the pain occours in areas were you have had prior herpes infections, I would consider this to be related to your past Herpes infections. However, if there is no relationship, I would believe that your history of MS is the more likely cause. Hope this helps. "This information is for educational purposes only.
