Paresthesias in hands

Paresthesias in hands

Hi,

I am puzzled by 2 years of symptoms of paresthesias that come and go in both of my hands. The symptoms last for 6-8 minutes and go away. I have no pain in my hands otherwise but when I have the paresthesias I have experienced grip weakness. I have had carpal tunnel surgery 7 years ago in my right hand and I don't remember these kinds of symptoms. I also have parasthesias from using a vacuum cleaner or even letting a shower run water on my palm. I am a 55 yo f. diabetic but controlled, not insulin dependent. I take Topamax for migraines but symptoms predate the Topamax. Also have DDD in cervical and lumbar regions. I have also noticed if I lay in bed with one of my arms to the side and put pressure on my inside of elbow I may duplicate the tingling paresthesias sensations in that hand!  Also my hands are always cold and I suspect Raynaulds.   B-12, thyroid tests are normal. What other tests do I need now? Do I need some kind of ENG test? What could these symptoms mean?
