Partial Absence of Cerebellar Vermis

Partial Absence of Cerebellar Vermis

At our 22 week ultrasound, our baby boy was diagnosed with three abnormalities- foci in the heart, two vessel cord and partial absence of cerebellar vermis. We are extremely concerned with the vermis absence. Has anyone had any experience with a vermis issue being diagnosed in utero? If so, what was the outcome? Our perinatologist tells us that there are no other brain abnormalities that he can detect at this time. We have read about Joubert and Dandy Walker syndromes, but it appears these children have other brain abnormalities in addition to an isolated missing vermis. Any and all help would be appreciated. We are concerned with the lack of information on an isolated missing vermis and the prognosis for our little guy. Thanks to everyone!
