(Peripheral) nerve pain/injury, normal MRI?

Hi.  I don't know what else to ask for/ look at, car accident a few months ago and the nerve pain is just getting worse, can't focus at work.  Shooting/stabbing pain through both arms and legs (that extends through/to the fingers/toes at times), though the arms are way worse.   Neck area also tingles, but, as noted, a cervical MRI was normal (though they noted a most likely congenital cyst/spinal fluid buildup.  Nerve test is this week, given legs and arms, it really seems something in the neck area has to be off?   Taking motrin doesn't do anything.  Could something internally be wrong in a neck disc that the MRI wouldn't pick up?  Thank you for any thoughts.  I'm miserable.
