Permax

Permax

For the past seven months since her diagnosis, our daughter has been
taking Sinemet CR twice a day for generalized dystonia.  She has
responded very well until recently.  For the past eleven days she has been
experiencing severe posturing in both feet. Her neurologist did prescribe
2mg of valium, but this has not helped. We are able to get one foot
released, but only temporarily.
I am in touch with another dystonia patient who takes Permax (Pergolide)
along with Sinemet CR.  If I read correctly, this is a Parkinson's med
which helps with foot cramping.  Does anyone have experience with combining
these two drugs?  I am going to talk to our neurologist today to see
what he thinks, but would appreciate any input.
Thanks so much!
