Pian in scalp and ear

I have a  pain on the top right side of my scalp. Feels like i have had my hair in a pony tail for a very long time. Doesn't hurt to the touch. It's kind of making my right ear a little sore. It seems to be causing a shooting pain from my ear to that spot on my scalp. It also kinda hurts to swallow. I am not sure what it could be please help.

I have the same problem.  For me , when it started,  I thought it was an earache and went to a walk in doctor place.  The doctor said that my ear (right ear) was not infected , that it must be that the tube was clogged and told me to take claritan, musinex and saline and motrin for the pain.  I had the scalp pain but thought it was related to the imagined earache.  The next few days I realized it was more stabbing pain in my right side of my head and my scalp is very tender to the touchon the top of my head (right side),  When that tenderness goes, the pains stop for an unspecified amount of time .  This has gone on for me for about 4 days.  It comes and goes.  I do hope someone out there can help.  I never know now when that searing  pain that comes in waves will come and how long it will last.
