My name is Trey, I am only 23 years old, and I recently had an endoscopic microdiscectomy to repair a severely ruptured disk at the L5. Before the operation the pain was so severe that i could not roll over in bed and even had to have the box spring temporarilly removed to make my bed low enough so that i could even get into it. Nothing I ever want to experience again, however I am beginning to experience some of the same symptoms as I was before the surgery but with a few new ones.
Since the surgery I have noticed a pain in my lower right abdomen that has been getting increasingly worse. It is a dull pain, not a sharp one, but still very painful at times. Two days ago I was just sitting down and it felt as though I had accidentally hurt my right testicle somehow. I shrugged it off as that can happen from time to time if you're not careful and sit down too fast, but even now, no matter how careful I am the pain streaks down my right abdomen and into my right testicle... not to mention the burning in my right buttocks, lower hamstring, upper/outer calf, and ankle.
I have an appointment with my surgen who performed the discectomy in about a week, but I was just wondering if you had found any answers yet???
Thank you so much for at least reading this and I'll post the results of my next visti.
