Pinched Nerve in my Neck

Hello,

I've been having pain in my neck for the past 2 years. Sometimes it's not as bad so I can deal with it but some days the pain is so severe with pain radiating down my neck (on the right side) and down my back and then down my arms. I've recently had an x-ray done to see if there were any slipped discs in my back...the x-rays were fine; but the doctor didn't move onto the next step to trying to find out what it is. I've self diagnosed as a pinched nerve. What type of doctor, meaning what specialty should I be going to so that I can get this resolved?

Thanks, Hasna

...u should see a neurologist or neurosurgeon, MRI's would be best! .......start at the neck and work ur way down.

Good luck

I'm thinking I have a pinched nerve also.  I just started to see a chiropractor.  My symptoms have not resolved but have been told it might take some time.  Good luck!
