Pineal cyst causing symptoms or drug abuse?

seizure fainting facial swelling unbalanced mood changes low white blood count menstrual problems the list goes on. loved one was recently hospitalized. after testing they said there is a mass on the brain but sent her to the psych ward. no psych problem diagnosed. released. less than week later, back in hospital due to seizure or passing out, diagnosis mini strokes. neuro believes mass is penial cyst. released within 24hrs. penial cyst info is not that documented. could these be symptoms of penial cyst? over many years, many head blows from falling. research shows that overdose or interaction of pills can produce most of the symptoms and others that are there. one research stated some medications that can cause damage to the brain also. question is: would the unknown to dr.'s such as heavy pill addiction problems have any effect on the diagnosis of penial cyst(thru xray type-no sample) because they found this due to all testing from "symptoms".  weeks before a blow to the head again, would the tests show the difference or could there be inaccuracy due to not knowing the full situation around the "symptoms"? what i have found on penial cyst mostly claim symptoms are rare though penial lesion or cysts are more common...though sometimes surgery comes to relieve symptoms. shouldnt the dr know about the addiction, cant it interfere with recovery or even diagnosis?

she has 1 "mass" in the middle of the back of her head.  since released from the hospital...she seems the good ole normal again, after many years, so its making me wonder.(she also claims to have stopped all the EXTRA pills though) Does your symptoms come and go or is it pretty much constant? I have read alot of research where many pills can damage the brain.. though i am hoping...i will keep looking into it. thanks.

I am going through a possible , cyst ,tumor, or  MS diagnosis. I am not a Dr. and cannot give you an answer to be sure ..but how many spots were there on MRI?  What does neuro say about the cyst? etc. I don't know if meds can do that.. I was a very heavy drinker for yrs and i started having my head pressure and then found spots after stopping heavy weekend drinking, but i have taken valium type drugs for uyrs as prescribed. I don't think its good for you..but i really don;t know the affect that has on causing severe trouble. Interesting thought , Kit
