Pituitary Microadenoma

by isabella25, Jan 30, 2008 10:45AM
I was found to have a 4-5 mm pituitary microadenoma on a recent MRI scan. The MRI was ordered due to amennorrhea to see if there was pituitary involvement. I was alos found to be homozygous for MTHFR C677T mutation (clotting disorder). My question is: Is it safe to take daily ASA and/or anticoagulation (lovenox/heparin) while pregnant to reduce the chance of a clot and/or miscarriage? Will taking ASA or an anticoagulant increase my chance of a bleed? By increase, I mean more so than the risk of the ASA/anticoagulant itself? Thanks.
