I really need a answer to this question before 2:30 EST, if at all possible, please.
I was wondering if Seizures could cause you to believe you did something when you actually didn't do it? Like for example, make you really think that you tried to kill yourself, when in totally reality you didn't.
I was trying to research it online, and really haven't found anything yet. :( Please help! This is extremely important. Thanks in advance! :)
Non-epileptic seizures might be connected to the type of experience you are describing, but even that would be unusual.
Assuming that you are typically a 'stable' individual, I would first review any medications you are taking with your physician. Hallucinations and/or vivid dreams can be a side effect of many medications. Sometimes it's a matter of adjusting dosages and/or switching medications.
If medications don't seem to be the issue, then a proper physical workup to rule out physiological causes and a psychiatric referal to get to the bottom of things.
Hope this helps.
