Please help!

My friend recently got kicked in the head at a soccer game now whenever she moves her head the inside of her head hurts where she got kicked. Is this just a concussion or worse? She doesn't want to go to a doctor until after the season is over.

Hi,
Your friend’s headache may be a symptom of Post concussion syndrome. Please ask your friend to take OTC pain killers for symptomatic relief. Symptoms of PCS usually subside on their own and may not require any treatment. A neurologist must be consulted if the symptoms persist. An MRI must be done to find out if there is any serious injury to the brain. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
