I am 27 years old. I have never been so disabled or fatigued in my life & I am so scared, because I cannot work or get out of my parents home. I am even too tired to drive. Its fatigue, not a sleepy sort of tired. I was in the hospital with moderate-severe Pneumonia on February 12th & given IV antibiotics. They worked & my lungs cleared up. I don't have any diseases & I am only 27, so for me to still be unable to do anything by April 6th is nuts! People are trying to tell me that I should be better now or that it is ALL depression. The psychiatrist says this is not just depression (I have been on something), but everyone thinks something different & that I need to "try harder" to get out. I am doing everything I can. I too tried packets of probiotics, Vit. B-12 shots, loads of Vit. C & so on. It is depressing not to be able to do anything, but I feel there is a physical problem. How long should it take to recover & have some energy again??? I am desperate & I cannot work or drive myself places. Heck, I am glad if I have enough energy to unload a dishwasher. Are there any suggestions or info. on recoveryRecovery position - series???
