I am a vietnam Veteran that has been exposed to agent orange. Could agent orange cause the thymusT-cell count gland to malfunction and cause tumors, and with its removal cause MG?
Could Agent Orange cause MG?
I have many Vets contact me that have MG and been exposed to Agent Orange.
Can the removal of the thymusT-cell count gland cause MG?
Can exposure to sulphuric acid fumes cause MG?
Let me know ASAP how and if any connection can be made.

If anything, a thymectomy should lessen the symptoms of MG. That is one of the treatments for it.
I also had read in the past about a link between MG and toxicChemotherapy Erythema multiforme Erythema toxicum on the foot Graves disease Hyperthyroidism Toxic megacolon Toxic nodular goiter Toxic shock syndrome Toxicology screen exposure (Agent Orange, etc.), but I don't know if it has ever been proven. You might want to try to post your question (though it may take some time getting through) to the neurology doctor-patient forum. Sometimes it takes a few weeks to get an answer, though. Don't think anyone on this board is going to be able to definitively answer your question, especially if the research isn't in regarding a definite link between the two. Read all you can on the internet and see what you come up with, though.
