: : I sent an original message on July 3.  It was rather long and has not yet been answered.  I guess the most important question I have is:
: Do lesions always show up in an MRI.  I had abnormal evoke potentials but the MRI was "essentially normal".  Where does that leave me?   Thanks for your help.
  : Linda
I received the answer to my original question.  Thanks.  I appreciate the time given to help us.  Since my original question I have had a type of relapse.  It started with pain and weakness in my shoulder and has progressed to stiffness and muscle spasms in my back and hip.  I had a very hard time moving this morning.  I actually wasn't sure that I could walk.  I have forced myself to move and the stiffness is somewhat better.   Now for my next question.  Since I don't live near Ohio where is another MS clinic that is close to my area?  I live in the Panhandle of Texas.  Each time I have a relapse it seems worse and worse.  I have no idea where to turn.
  Thanks for you help.

Tough problem. You need to contact the MS society at 1800 FIGHT MS and
they can help find you someone who treats MS. The University of Texas at
Houston has a good center. Good luck.
