Possible Stroke
My cousin came to my house a couple of hours ago and was completely confused. She was talking about her dead brother as if he were still alive, she wouldn't respond to some questions or respond and then stop, and after when she was in the ambulance, she didn't know her birthday or name. Then she had a seizure once she got to the ER. Can someone please help me, I think she may have had a stroke but I'm not a doctor so I don't know for sure.
well now there is more info...they did a CAT scan and determined it wasnt a stroke..and then did an MRI later and now think it is a stroke again and it was beyond the time that they were allowed to give the injection that helps reverse the damage (I believe it is called Abciximab). The nurses were furious that an MRI was not done immediately and now we do not know what the pronosis is.
