Post surgery behavior

by kathy91, Oct 02, 2008 10:33AM
My daughter had surgery about a year ago to remove a non-cancerous cyst and tumor from her cerabellum. We were told to watch for signs of depression but not warned about anything else. The last 3 months we have started seeing signs of what could be depression but they are more behavior type changes and personality changes. Is this normal post brain surgery and where can we find info on what others have experienced and how we can deal with it. We don't want to put our daughter on any drugs for depression especially since it's more changes in personality anyway and don't want just drug answers.
