now little info on me. i do suffer anxiety/panic attacks and agoraphobia. i split from my girlfriend 3weeks ago which has hit me quite hard. i dont sleep very well. and i have a **** bed/pillows and bad posture. i have in the past week or so been laying awkward all day on the bed.
but im just worried it something more than my panic mind stirring up or posture. i have made an appointment for the drs but thats not till Friday evening. (earliest they could do) also i dont want to go Hospital if i can help it as it is 20mins from me and im agoraphobic so will be hell for me its not just the journey but i know i will be waiting in there for hrs. also i dont want to waste drs time of it being something i can wait till friday.
any ideas? i worried i got a brain tumour or something along those lines.
From what you have described, it seems that this problem is mostly stress or anxiety related, as these could really heighten our perception of pain and fatigue. Adequate rest and recreation can help in easing these symptoms.
Another possibility is migraine, which can be treated with standard medications as well as lifestyle changes/ modifications (like lowering stress levels).
I agree with the doctor consult as from his neurologic exam alone, he may be able to tell if there is something serious to consider and order appropriate tests and scans. Also, ask for further optimal treatment for your panic/anxiety problem.
hi
i am a 20 year old female and i am suffering from the same symptoms, i have been for the last 6 months. I have been to numerous docters and none od them know for sure I'm schelduled for a CT scan in about 2 weeks, as soon as i could be booked in. The only thing is that i had a baby right before i started to experiene any of these symptoms, they havn't responded to any treatment so far that being, anti-infalmmitory's and such. i have been to the hospital twice the first time they gave me a shot of toridol, it worked for about 5 days. the second time i went they kept me there all day monitered my vitals i had high blood pressure. they gave me 3 shots one of demerol, then toridol, and some shot for migraines. i never responded to any. I am freaked out t hat something serious is wrong with me, i had full blood work all was good. the last doctor i went to said he thought my symtoms were from stress and or post partum depression, i am also losing weight. i also have been having panic attacks and anxiety only because these headaches will not ever go away. please if anyone as any advice i'd love to here it.
i went to the dr twice in the end and my blodd pressure was fine, my heart beat and my chest was clear.
he said i had a viral infection just by looking at my throat. i have had blood test and awaiting the results. he said i should take paracetamol for the aches and gargle salt water.
would a viral infection though cause me to have this head pressure, earache/crackling sound in both ears, neck ache, tiredness and the one that worries me the most the feeling of my arms being heavy or not feeling like my own.
i have no fever, no cough, no sneezing and no sore throat except slightly for one day. though voice is a bit croaky.
does that sound like a viral infection?
this is now the 10th day of this problem and i feel no better
