Thank You for your imput. I am not ignoring this in the least. Over here it difficult to prove that I have protuding disc without a mri with the contrastfluid. My brother has the same thing. It is herritary. I have been asking for the contrastfluid injection for quite some time now. Here they did an MRI twice and didnt see it on me and said I dont have a protuding disc. I know it for certain I do. Now they have to get proof. The only way this protuding disc shows up is with the contrastfluid. I can actually feel my disc move when I walk.
There is no way to truly tell unless you get and MRI, a disc will not show on x-ray. When the pain goes away, it just means the inflammation and irratation in that area has reduced, you still have a weakness in that spot and always care for that area, whether you keep your weight down, due moderate exercise, and lift correctly. There are certain guidelines you go through with a protruded disc and at home care instructions you should get from your health care provider whether it be pcp, chiropractor, orthopedist etc. Don't ignore it, they tend to get worse if not treated properly.Hope that helps!
