RSD dx'd w/new symptoms

I have RSD, had several surgeries to control pain at CCF with Stanton-Hicks (gr8 doc), including SCS w/4 revisions due to unforeseen mechanical problems, and a intrathecal pain pump (1999-2004). Since I was put on a pain med regimen, I felt it best to not make the 2.5 hour trip and take up doc's time for other patients, and find doc in hometown. New doc had no choice but to try pain pump again and was placed 6/24/10. Since then, and not immediately following (about 2.5 months), I began with severe leg swelling, followed by mid-back gradual severe pain. While the leg swelling is doing much better, after much to-do and a cardiologist visit, the thoracic pain is intolerable. My impression is that since the RSD can spread with surgery, it did spread now to my spine. I have systemic (upper & lower both extremities) and was told this by Stanton-Hicks himself.  However, my doc says it is related (caused) by RSD but his dx is thoracic facet joint disease.  I have severe hypersensitivity, but I also have new symptom of the feeling of electricity running in my back and thru my arms to fingers, and up my neck. I can only best describe it as having the SCS in me, or a TENS unit placed inside on constant. To me, its more than pins and needles.  I don't remember having that symptom at the beginning of my RSD in other places.  The other thing my doc says I do (which when said I realize I do it) is that I'm "hunching".
