I have posted two prior "Spondy" problems, most recently 9/10/98.  I appreciate your resposes, as they help to process information the doctors share with me.  Since I last posted, I have seen a Neurosurgeon who examined me and reviewed prior records.  He seems to disagree with the Ortho Surgeon I originally saw, stating that he doesn't see the degree of "slip" he feels would be appropriate for the extent and duration of my right foot/ankle numbness and weakness.  He ordered a CAT/Myelogram and I will have results on this Friday.  During the procedure, spinal fluid was withdrawn for lab testing.  In addition, a blood sample was drawn for a blood sugar test.  Several Xrays were taken, and the CAT was performed.  Can you tell me what things are looked for in the spinal fluid/blood comparison studies?  What information can I expect to have shared with me when this is all reviewed?

Please see answer to your second posting.
Thanks.
