Dear Judith,
if you live in a large city with an academic institution, visit the medical school or medical center library. You can ask the librarian to help you or you can search the Medline yourself under Epidural Blood Patch.
From what I have read so far, there are few if any good review article, many articles out there are case reports. We know it works but that is about it. I am not sure if it is covered in Anesthesiology textbook.
that is another source.. I remember at least two articles from British Medical Journal about it but can't remember the exact year (96?)/
