Dear CCF Doctor,
Thank you very much for your advice.  I checked with her physian
in China.
The physian is confidant that the diagnostic conclusion is called:
OPCA (Oliver Pons Cerebellar Atrophy).  The cause is primary.
The patient is 57 years old, female, non-smoker, non-alcoholic, no
drug-history.  The disease was detected 3 years ago after we found
she sometimes fell when walking.  Her situation deteriorated a lot
in the past 3 years.  Now she can barely walk even with a cane.
She also has difficulty in speaking.
Her physician said there's hardly anything they can do to control or
cure OPCA. What they can do is to give her intensive care and prevent
complications, e.g. pheumonia, etc.  He said there might be new drugs
or treatment in the States for OPCA.
I'm not sure if the information I provided is enough.  Your further
advice is highly appreciated.
Thank you
Yimin
