I hope I can help some of you with muscle twitching to relax a bit.  My family inherits the gene for ALS, and, as you can imagine, all of us are extremely aware of twitches, and have been for twenty years--the time at which we became aware of this inherited illness.  We all twitch, and what's more, when I ask friends if they twitch--virtually all of them say yes, that they are often aware of muscle twitching.  (No ALS in their families.)  If you are very "body aware," you will feel twitches!
