I'm having a problem with chronic joint and muscle pain. It started in my hands and shoulders and has spread to my legs. It is like a toothache in the joint sometimes accompanied by muscle spasms. I have been to a rheumatologist who ran tests for various types of arthritis, did x-rays of my chest, and a blood screen. All negative. When a joint is hurting, the veins stand out in that area. Holding something in a grip or being in one position for a short time causes pain. Any advice on other tests to be tried or specialists that may help?  
I forgot to add that I am on long-term therapy with Diclofenac, Skelaxin & Ultram
