There is no link between NF1 and MG to my knowledge. I am curious as to why you are asking tghis question

I have an NF1 diagnosis and approximately 2 months ago I developed symptoms of MG.  I have been unable to acquire medical attention due to a lack of health insurance and insufficient resources to obtain the treatment I will need to diagnose my current problem.  The symptoms are numbness of the right side of my face and head, sagging of right eyelid, gagging feeling, stiffness in the right side of neck, aching in right arm, numbness of gums, jaw, and tongue, et., etc.  I was just curious as to whether or not these symptoms could possibly be caused by a cranial tumor (neurofibroma), or tumor on one of the facial nerves, etc.  I am quite knowledgeable about NF1 and NF2 and I realize tht these symptoms are not to be ignored.  I am just not able to afford treatment at this time.  I also noticed an inquiry of another person about whether there is a relationship between MG and St. John's Wort.  I try not to self diagnose or perform self-assessments, but it does not hurt to ask questions.  I guess I'm seeking some reassurance until that time when I can afford medical attention.  It's a shame that as one whose professional practice is assisting the indigent and less privileged in obtaining needed services, I am unable to get help in my time of need because my income is too high for tax assisted treatment and not enough for private pay.
