What significance does night sweats have with MS?  Is this a known symptom or is it something else? I am taking a medicine at night to help me sleep because I have nerve pain in my arm and shoulder.  Now the last 2 mornings I have been sweaty. Is this another MS symptom?

Night sweats are not a recognized manifestation of MS or indeed of neurological
disease in general, just to be sure I did a 20 year literature search and
could find no report of this combination.
Night sweats are more commonly associated with infection, clasically Tuberculosis,
if this persists you should be checked by an internist as any underlying
disorder is unlikely to be neurological in nature.
One thought occurs to me, if you are taking medication containing Tylenol
for pain this can cause sweating.
To be really significant this symptom should be severe and sustained,
waking up slightly sweaty on two occasions is no a cause for major
concern, if it continues however I would strongly suggest you see an internist.
