Dr.
I recently had a breast lift and augmentation 2 weeks ago and have
noticed a
nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity extending from the bottom of my left breast when I lift
my arm up over my
headHead and face reconstruction
Head injury
Head lice
Indications of head injury
Radial head injury and it seems to extend down toward my abdomen.
This is causing me some pain and concern. Did the implant get put in
the wrong area? is this a
nerveNerve biopsy
Nerve conduction velocity or
ligamentAnterior cruciate ligament (acl) injury
Tendon vs. ligament? Can you help?
Thanks
Roxann
Dear Roxann:
It is difficult to tell you what is extending from the breast area. Usually the nerve would have resolved into dead tissue by this point and not be present if the surgeon cut it and left it hanging (?). I would not think that this is what your seeing. Was the incision site in this area? If so, I would think that this is probably a stitch that was left. You probably should contact the plastic surgeon and tell him/her what you are seeing and have it looked at. I wouldn't think that this is something serious.
Sincerely,
CCF Neuro MD
