There are anecdotal cases in the medical literature using Neurontin for the treatment of causalgic pain, such as that seen in "RSD" or its many cousins (causalgia, sympathetically mediated pain syndrome etc. etc.). It is a nice choice since it generally has no side effects and no drug interactions. If your daughter has had relief from it, I would stick with it indefinitely for these aforementioned reasons.
