Hi,
I neglected to state that prior to the SAH I never experienced headaches and in the past two months I have transient head pain consisting of quick stabbing pains in various areas and also low grade headaches.  Is this a result of the initial bleed or a warning sign of impending rebleed?
If headaches follow a SAH please give me a clue as to how long I may expect these to last.  Again, thanks so much!  Victoria
Please refer to the post entitled SAH - posted earlier this evening....
Dear Victoria:
These headaches that you describe may occur for quite some time after SAH.
There is also a risk that if you do have an aneurysm, that these may actually
be sentinel bleeds where there is leakage of blood from the aneurysm.
It is difficult to tell you what to do but I would recommend a second angiogram
sooner rather than later.
Good Luck!
