I am scheduled to have a spinal decompression & fusion (L5-S1) for
spondylolisthesis.  After having a spinal fusion, is an epidural still
a possibility for pain management during labour?
Thank you for your assistance!

Dear BL,
The short answer is yes.  The fusion you would have is lower than where they would put an epidural for labor, so there shouldn't be any troubles.  Usually this isn't an issue as the typical patient that gets a fusion is older and past their years of having children.
If you have further questions, consult your physican about these concerns before going in to have the baby.
Good luck.
