thank you for your compassion and response.  since aneurysms are a weak spot in the wall of the artery, and the weak spot may be caused be disease, injury or even a congenital defect, then when you say that my daughter's aneurysm was  probably "sporadic", does that mean congenital but unique only to her?  what diseases could cause it?  also, if an aneurysm was caused by an injury, would this injury have to be a major head trauma (ie. car accident where there is obvious external injury to the head), or could it be something as subtle as a simple bump on the head that could have happened days, months or even years prior to the rupture?  and would that slight injury be enough to cause the aneurysm to form in the first place?
could you also give me some of the statistics on how common aneurysms are in general, in children, and how often they are fatal.
and also, what do you know about type 4 ehler-danlos syndrome and arterial ruptures?
