They suggest that it is developmental in nature. What is it?? What is the cause? The treatment? Im having a hard time getting information.

Dear Patti,
Arachnoid cysts are congenital in nature, meaning a patient is born with the
cyst. If symptomatic, they may be treated surgically either by internal drainage
or by shunting the cyst into the abdomen, or both. Check out the numerous
previous responses to arachnoid cysts questions by using the search mode on
