: Both of my legs hurt all the time.  Its a constant pain much like when you over do it when exercising.  I use to get relief by sitting down but now the pain dosesn't go away when I sit down or lie down.
My lower back gets real stiff and starts hurting for no reason.  Sitting down does relive this.

Neurologic causes of leg pain include pinched nerves secondary to spine arthritis or herniated disks (usually an intermittent, lightning-like, sharp pain), neuropathy, a condition where nerve endings in the legs (usually starts in toes or heels and slowly works up over months to years) slowly degenerate, myopathies (inflammation or other damage directly to muscles themselves), and on occasion other rarer diseases and conditions. A proper history and neurologic examination by a neurologist is a good way to sort out the most likely reasons, and then proper testing can be ordered as necessary to confirm the diagnosis. Tests that might be required for such diagnosis include an EMG, nad/or MRI scan of the (lumbar usually) spine. If you are near Cleveland and would be interested in seeing a Cleveland Clinic neurologist, our appointment number is 1-800-223-2273 extension 45559; otherwise, virtually any competent neurologist should be able to help you out with this relatively straightforeward type of problem.
