I posted this and never got an answer, but then I'm not sure whether you answer follow up questions:
Your suggestion of Amantidine (Symmetrel), is that in addition to the pemoline and
phentermine?
I am assuming that you have had an appropriate routine medical workup for fatigue to
investigate things like thyroid disease - yes, i get a chem 22, a t3, t4, a b12 and folates every
month
It is also possible that in your particular case your prior head injury may have caused
additional, subtle, injury to your brain (especially if you lost consciousness as a result of the
injury) that may be turning what would have otherwise been a dime's worth of fatigue caused
by your M.S. into a dollar's worth.
Yes, i was unconscious and suffered a subarachnoid hemmorage - but how does that make the
fatique worse and will it ever get better?
Because your fatigue does appear to be adversely affecting your functioning at work (without
a doubt, I was a reporter and now have been switched to the copy desk, a demotion as far as i
am concerned) and perhaps at home (also true as I am a single mother), and also sounds
progressive in nature if I am inferring correctly, (you are) it would seem reasonable to look for
some of the more common medical underlying causes of it - (such as?)
