Thanks for your question.  Unless your symptoms have been constant from the
time of the epidural anesthesia (22 years ago), it is less likely that
a lesion from that procedure would explain your current symptoms.  Nerve
lesions from pricedures such as epidurals can have a fluctuating character,
but they seldom disappear completely, and reappear later.
