    I'm sorry that I wasn't clear.  Perhaps I should have called it idiopathic megalencephaly.  At birth my head circumference was abnormally large and there is no history of large heads in the family.
    Physical development was delayed; with my head remaining large for my age and the rest of me small for my age until I was in college.  Physical coordination lagged as well, although that may have been partly due to being double-jointed.
    My head is still larger than average but I'm not certain that it qualifies any longer as megalencephaly.  (My head circumference is 69 cm.)
