Some days I remember things..names etc but lately upon leaving a room to get or do something I forget halfway there.  I feel liked I've been punched in the head and my hearing is numb.  Time perception is ridiculous.
Another thing is that at times I am hypersensitive to noise and find it impossible to blot out the tv to hear what someones says-everything runs together and drives me crazy.  In the market I can be very bothered by colors and florecent lights to the point of having to shut my eyes...its like everything is too stimulating.
I am 41f and have had chronic fatigue for 15 years with other small problems that seem to recur here and there.  I have sore skin patches, and problems going to the bathroom and am nearly always cold and very ill feeling.  Its a real push to get on with life and not to be preoccupied with feeling down about it.  I had thyroid testing and because both parents were diabetic I was tested for that too and nothing.  Could these problems be related because of the way they come and go? THANK YOU for any response.

I cannot localize your symptoms to one anatomical location in thenervous syteem, too many separate sensory systems are involved, eyes, ears, body sensation, memory are all causing problems.
When this wide variety of symptoms occurrs withoutany features which can bo localized to a single area a number of possibilities come to mind. I would have checked the thyroid also and, given your family history screening for diabetes is a good idea.
You need to have a detailed neurological examination to look for objective findings in the systems which are giving you problems, if examination yields any abnormalities this would dictate further testing.
One of the most common causes for multiple complaints in various  distributions is that these are produced by stress.
This should only be settled on as a final diagnosis when other diagnostic possibiliteies have been ruled out, and this stage has not yet been reached.
You do however need to be seen by a neurologist to investigate these symptoms, from the information available however, I do not discern a pattern which points at this stage to a definite serious underlyingdisease process.
