I would like to know if it is possible to have *ONLY* cafe au lait spots in NF1 without the development of fibromas or other complications.
My daughter is 7, diagnosed with NF.  An MRI reveals NO anatomical signs of the disease.
She does have the typical axillary/inguinal freckling, other cafe au lait spots on face and trunk.
I know the course of this disease is highly variable -- I just want to know if there are people with NF1 skin lesions who display no other problems.
Thank you.
