This all started last May:  fascicualtions (the traditional, where you can see the nerve jump sometimes) and then what I at first was tingling but now think are a different form of fsciculations which started in my left hand and foot, moved to the right side two months later and can now feel in my knees and elbows occasionally and sometimes a twinge on my scalp or face.  It feels like someone took a cattleprod to one end of my nerve and zapped it.  Like a long buzz, and then it will stop.  I also have had numbness and burning, always in the same muscle group in my leg and arms on and off.  Have had weeks where I was very stiff and my joints felt arthritic.  Also developed a slight tremor in my fingers - fingers move side to side.  Had a battery of tests two months after this started - emg (not needle part) MRI of head and cervical vertebrae, lupus test, sensory neuropathy panel, vasculitis panel, lymes titer, cbc, spinal - all negative.  I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia, although there was no testing for the tender points.
Based on this, I have two questions:
1.  Does this sound like fibromyalgia?  SOme sypmptoms do I think, but some don't.
2.  My feet and hands have began to fall asleep alot lately when I'm sitting still and it takes a long time for me to wake them up.  Can Fibro. cause this?  How worried should I be about my circulation?
This all started with flu like sypmtoms and diarhea (diarrhea).  Before this I was very healthy.  Ran 6 miles a day, no diseases, not even a family doctor because I never got sick.

Hi Jason,  Thanks for your question.  Based on all your information you supplied and tests have all came back basically negative.  I would really look into possibility of it be Psychosomatic illness.  I would
recommend you get consultation with Psychiatrist.  I feel he/she maybe of help to your problems you are having.  Usually, with all the symptoms you are complaining of are usual in somatic patient.
Good Luck.
