How long should I let muscle twitching go before seeeking another opinion? I started with a twitch beneath my eye about two years ago.  It lasted for about a month, and then they seemed to spread throughout my body at random places  sometimes they would last for days or weeks, sometimes just intermittently.  I went to my GP and he said I was stressed out and put me on an antidepressant for a short time( he did blood work and did the "walk on your heels" kind of exam).  It has now been over two years and the twitching is still there.  Do I go in again?  Is this something I should be worrying about? Can twitchiing last his long and have it nothing but anxiety?  I basically twitch all day, every day..somtimes worse than others.  How long does twitching go on in ALS patients?  Would I have shown some signs of weakness by now?  Please help.  Thank you!
