we did physical therapy two years ago and it did help a great deal. Now when I have my flare ups I increase the exercises that P.T. taught me only when all they taught me fails to bring relieve do I call my doctor. I am afraid to ask about a referal to a pain specialist. I hate the doped up feeling that pain meds give me. Do they do more than just had out pain meds? I realize that may sound bad. it is not intended to. I really don't know what all they do. I would consider seing an accupuctorist if I could get an appointment with the only one we have in town.
