Redness/Warmness of Palms & Soles of Feet

I am 23 years old and for my entire life, i have always had reddish colored palms of my hands & the soles of my feet are the same way. They are also usually very warm to the touch. In hot weather, they tend to sweat more than what i think would be normal, as well. Also, from time to time they will peel, as if i am a lizard shedding skin or something. I'm pretty light skinned, so the discoloration is very noticeable. I have tried ( in the past ) putting ice on them and it may take a little of the color out, and it lightens a little but theres mostly nothing i can do as far as the redness.
Other than these symptoms, i have no troubles what-so-ever. NO numbness, NO loss of feeling in my fingers. NO tingling or any other issues at all. The only issue i am caused is i am asked lots of questions like if i burned my hands and such.
I would really like to know what causes this, because like i said, i've always had it, ever since i was born and i would like to know what to tell people when they ask whats wrong. Or if there is possibly something i could do about it?
