Reoccurring headachs

by Suzi27, Nov 10, 2009 01:20AM
For over a year now I've been getting reoccurring headaches, each time it happens my symptoms get worse and worse. My last symptoms, I constantly left dizziness, nauseated though I never threw up, pressure headaches, when I touched the area that hurt on my head it would feel tingly and sensitive, weakiness in my left arm and shoulder, neck pain that went all the way down my back on the left side, and numbing on the left side of my face as well as my left eye feeling achy. I've noticed a trained for my symptoms, I'd feel this way for about a month or two, then all of a sudden it will stop for a month and start again a month later. A couple of days ago, my symptoms all of a sudden came back and its the worst they've ever felt. Recently, all of a sudden I got a very painful headache above my left ear and across to the front of my head every time I bent my head over. I started to feel very sick to my stomach, I took my percription pain killer Naprox, then it seemed to have settled down. About an hour later I started to get a very painful pressure pain to the point i started to cry, and I became every pale, but it only lasted for 5 mins and after it ended the pain seemed to stop complete except for feeling very tired and extremely physically weak. Although, I am still feeling some of the after affects as my previous symptoms.

Now, I am currently going to a Nerologist, but its been a few months now and I haven't gotten any answers. I've tired  nerve medications such as  Gabapentin and  Amitriptyline, but they haven't helped at all. Also, none of my current pain killers help, such as over the counter pain killers, and 500mg of naprox, and they do not subdue my headachs at all. I've also had a CT scan of my head as well as an X-ray of my neck, but nothing came up, my blood pressure is perfectly fine, my blood tests came back normal, and the doctors can't figure out what's wrong with me. I am starting to come at my wits end, the pain is starting to become extremely unbearable. If someone can give me an insight or an idea on what's going on, I would be extremely grateful. Thank you.
