Rubber band snapping noises in my brain.
I am 49 years old. For the last 10 or 15 years I have had a rubberband snapping noise in my brain. Sometimes it is followed by a sizzling noise, and sometimes it is followed by a worm felling, like bleeding. I asked my Dr. about this and he said " Oh that happens to me to." That didn't make me feel any better and didn't stop it. Now I am getting foregetful. Please help. The snapping noise is in the top of my brain, the back, behind my eyes, everywhere.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

What you are experiencing could be hallucinations and delusions and they can occur with certain medications, stress, sleep deprivation, in certain brain disorders and with schizophrenia or bipolar disorders. You will need to consult your primary care physician for an assessment and he may then refer you to a psychiatrist if needed.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
