SFN and Myofascial pain

Like many people here, I have run the gamut of Doctors since my life changed in Feb 2008.
I had some sort of virus/flu after the flu shot and have had bilateral lower leg pain and weakness..
Sometimes it moves into thighs and hips..When I get upset, the pain definately flares..
I have been diagonosed with everything from Small Fiber Neuropathy, to Fibro, to RSD, to
Post Viral, to Myofascial and many more..Out of the hundreds of tests, (and you guys know the drill)
the only thing that came back positive was SFN after the punch skin biopsy..
It was negative at the calf and positive at the thigh (whatever that means)....I can not take
anti-depressants...Dr's think its because that is what it is called, but its because Im wired
different..I take one of these pills and Im up for 3-4 days straight which makes my pain ten times worse.
Im on Neurotin, Tramadol, Combunox, Lidoderm Patches...I did have an Epidural Steroid Injection and was pain free for 2 months but pain came back and the shots never worked again...Over the last month, I have noticed
bumps or nodules under my skin..I thought, finally something they can see!  I went to my Internist
today and he said he thought it might be some kind of auto-immune thing but nothing ever showed up in
all the blood tests...My Dr said he remembered a patient a few years ago that had something similar and it
was an auto-immune disease but he couldnt remember the patients name and said if he does he can go to his
file and see what it is...Does this sound familiar to anyone out there? Oh, and the burning feet did not start
until after the Peroneal Nerve biopsy so if I do have SFN I believe it came from that...Im asking help from
all the pain brothers and sisters out there to come together and try and help me..Im a single Mom of a
son who is starting to get Football recruiting letter and I can't help him..We have no one else..My Father just
passed away two weeks ago so Im really begging the Inernet community to help us..
