Over a month ago I came down with a really bad sinus cold which lasted about 5 days. Sneezing crazy and stuffed up. A few days after those symptoms passed, I was at my first day at new job and all of a sudden extreme dizziness hit me and I liked blacked out for a few seconds. When I realized what happened I was surprised I was even still standing. I thought I was having s heartattack or stroke.. Went to ER and they gave me amox clav pills and a steroidal antibiotic. Everyday taking the amox clav I felt I was heading in the right direction. I even had a couple days off having no lightheaded dizzy feeling. Wants I finished those pills within a few days the lightheaded foggy head feeling began to come back and has been constant since. Should I have taken the amox clav longer? What could it be? It's really affecting my life PLZ HELP

Hi,

How are you?
Burning headache is most commonly the result of sinusitis or flu. The headache due to sinusitis is a constant burning headache which can travel to other parts of the head as well.
I think your sinusitis is not completely cured. You can suggest to your ENT about the possibility of getting a CT scan or an MRI done as that will make things more clear.
Only if sinusitis is ruled out do you need to see a neurologist to rule out brain tumors and brain growths as a cause of burning pain.
Take care!
