SMELLING SOMETHING THATS NOT THERE AND HEADACHES

IM 19 YEARS OLD AND FOR LIKE THE PAST YEAR I HAVE BEEN HAVING THIS VERY BAD HEADACHES. AT FIRST I HAVE THEM EVERY DAY FOR LIKE 2 MONTHS AND NOW THE ONLY TIME I GET THEM IS WHEN WATCHING T.V. WHEN IM ON DA COMPUTER OR OUT AT NIGHT AND MY FACE GET RED AND HOT WHEN I GET THEM. I KNOW I DON'T NEED GLASSES BECAUSE I ALREADY WENT TO AN EYE DOCTOR BUT IT SEEMS LIKE IT BEACUSE I ONLY GET THEM AFTER LIKE 10 MINUTES OF WATCHING TV.. ANOTHER TIME I GET THEM IS WHEN I READ.. I ALWAYS FEEL DIZZY AND TIRED ALSO.. AND NOW FOR THE PAST 5 DAYS I CAN SMELL GASOLINE EVERYWHERE I GO AND EVEN AT NIGHT NO MATTER WHAT. I DON'T KNOW WHAT CAN BE CAUSING THIS. I DO NOT SEE THE NEUROLOGIST UNTILL ANOTHER 2 WEEKS AND I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS THIS SYMPTOMS HAPPEN TO THEM BEFORE.

Charlie, by son has epilepsy, so I was on this sight.  I am glad you are seeing a neurologist.  The smell thing and headache thing could be seizure symptoms.  Be sure and start a journal immediately it will really help you see any correlations in greater detail.  Good luck,  I will pray for you!

Hi,
There could be olfactory nerve pathologies. Hyperosmia or increased smell sensation is also associated with Cluster headaches, Migraines, Addison’s disease, Hormonal problems and Seizures. Seizures do not necessarily mean jerky movements of the body. There are many types of seizures. Sometimes there may not be any noticeable symptoms. Please go for a CT scan or MRI  of the brain and consult an ENT surgeon and neurologist for the diagnosis and treatment. Hope this helps you. Take care and regards!
